EasyTether for Android - update 1.1.5 - Bluetooth tethering for tablets

EasyTether has been updated to 1.1.5, the update adds Bluetooth tethering for Android tablets.

EasyTether tablet is available in Google Play Store. EasyTether Tablet 0.9.0 adds experimental Bluetooth support. A known issue: some third-party apps do not recognize Internet connection.

Version 0.9.1 adds USB tethering for tablets.

Please add something on this blog that explains the difference between all your EasyTether app versions.

EasyTether Tablet should be installed on your tablet, it is free.
Easytether Lite is a free trial, should be installed on your smartphone, supports tethering to laptops and tablets.
The paid versions are in fact the same, you should choose whichever is available/visible in Google Play store for your carrier. The paid versions are the unlimited versions of EasyTether Lite, should be installed on your smartphone.

So I have a Windows 7 laptop with Bluetooth and a phone with EasyTether. Can I tether over bluetooth to my computeR?

I've been using easytether for about 2 years now, and still waiting for laptop bluetooth support. Now they have it for tablets. I guess they are going to support whatever is more popular. Bummer

Doesn't seem to work on the S4 with Linux. easytether connect just hangs.

I can tell you that I have exchanged about 6 emails with the company that released EasyTether Pro and have yet to get a satisfactory answer on why the program I purchased from them will not do Bluetooth between the Kindle Fire and the Blackberry Curve 9330. Their responses have been caustic and condescending.

intelimote,
The latest version is 1.1.7, not 1.1.4

Email our support and describe the problem including your device model.

Make sure the latest Android app and the latest drivers are installed.

Your comment has nothing to do with Bluetooth tethering for tablets, by the way.

You must be talking about "EasyTether Pro" for BlackBerry, while this post is about Bluetooth tethering for Android.

Anyway, please forward your email correspondence to mstream2009(at)gmail (dot) com

Please note that both EasyTether for BlackBerry and EasyTether for Android have free trial versions.

I'm trying to tether my tab3 to my s6 edge. Although the app says I'm connected I have no Internet access on the tablet

I am using easytether pro 1.1.5 on my galaxy s7 and easytether tablet 0.9.7 on my galaxy tab A and I can pair the devices but the easytether app on the tablet has no option for Bluetooth. It only lists USB for tethering. Do I need a new version?
